Approximately what daily volume of email messages can be processed by the various SafePoint system models?




The general recommended average email processing volumes for the SafePoint systems are as follows:

SafePoint Lite: Up to 500,000 Messages Per Day
SafePoint Corporate/SME: Up to 5 Million Messages Per Day
SafePoint ISP/Webhost: Up to 10 Million Messages Per Day
SafePoint Enterprise: Up to 30 Million Messages Per Day

There is no fixed or "hard limit" on the number of domains or email accounts or the volume of email which a particular model of the SafePoint Anti-Spam Firewall can process. The numbers quoted are general recommendations based on the performance of a given model of SafePoint system the actual amount of email which will be able to be processed in any given time frame would depend primarily on the type and content of your email traffic. If your SafePoint system is processing more emails than the total daily recommended processing capacity for your particular SafePoint system model and you start to notice a delay in email delivery of more than a couple of seconds it may be time to upgrade your SafePoint system to a higher capacity model
