RatePoint's Business Review platform is all about establishing a credible, fair feedback system for both businesses and their clients. Our system is designed to authenticate reviews on several levels. It will not allow anyone to leave multiple reviews (thus preventing review spamming), and it will also prevent businesses from leaving reviews for themselves.

We validate the email address of each reviewer, and, to prevent slander, we also validate a phone number (with a quick, automated call) in the case of a negative review. Reviews are not displayed immediately; the business will be notified each time they receive feedback and will have the choice of whether or not to display a positive (3-5 star) review. Negative (1-2 star) reviews enter what is called "Dispute Resolution," giving the business a chance to reach out to the customer and resolve the issue. If the customer is satisfied and chooses to mark the issue as "resolved," the review will never be displayed. However, if the business does not respond to a dispute, or if after several communications the reviewer finally marks the issue as "unresolved," the negative review will be posted.
