Mac Mail on SnowLeopard for Exchange 2010




If there is no previous email account on the computer:
1. Select the Mail icon.
2. Enter Full Name, email address and password and select Continue.
3. When prompted to Verify Certificate, select Connect
4. On the Account summary screen, select to setup Address Book contacts and iCal calendars and select Create.

Afterr the account is configured, select Mail menu, Preferences, Accounts.

1. On the Account Information tab, change the internal server to ex2010.myhostedservice.com and remove the external server.

2. On the Advanced tab, verify the Internal server path is EWS/Exchange.asmx and the External Server Path is empty.

3. Save changes


If there is a previous email account on the computer:
1. Select the Mail icon.
2. Select File, Add Account
3. Enter Full Name, email address and password and select Continue.
4. When prompted to Verify Certificate, select Connect
5. On the Account summary screen, select to setup Address Book contacts and iCal calendars and select Create.
The previous mail account can be removed by selecting the Mail menu, Preferences, Accounts, highlight the account to be removed and select the - sign in the lower left.

Afterr the account is configured, select Mail menu, Preferences, Accounts.

1. On the Account Information tab, change the internal server to ex2010.myhostedservice.com and remove the external server.

2. On the Advanced tab, verify the Internal server path is EWS/Exchange.asmx and the External Server Path is empty.

3. Save changes

The final settings will be:

Mac mail settings:
Account Information
description: name
email address: email address
full name:
internal server: ex2010.myhostedservice.com
external server: blank
pasword: email password

Advanced tab:
internal server path: EWS/Exchange.asmx
internal port: 443
use SSL: selected
